Mazdutide is a synthetic analogue of oxyntomodulin that activates both the GLP-1 receptor and the glucagon receptor. Glucagon-receptor activity is associated with increased energy expenditure and hepatic fat reduction in preclinical models.
In the 48-week phase 3 GLORY-1 trial in Chinese adults with obesity or overweight (n = 610), mazdutide 4 mg and 6 mg produced mean weight changes of −10.1% and −12.6% versus 0.5% with placebo 1.
Sequence, formula and CAS data are provided for identification. Batch-specific purity, mass-spec and HPLC data are on the Certificate of Analysis — ask for it with your order.
